The Road: 2 June 2016

Location: Highway 101 North towards Oregon

9:30pm

Through the break in the trees a massive wall of quiet fog emerges. The dying sun caught bursting hues of orange ignitied by red. Pink scattered amongst blue. My breath went with it. Through the wall of fog the sun sets, capturing the hues of pinks in the sky. The rush of the day ending like waves on the ocean rocks which lingering in the abyss on Arizona’s side. My view as passenger showed nothing but the realms of the redwoods that lingered, a road away from the entirity of the Pacific coast.
